Two years I started going again and realized during the winter that I actually had become a chain smoker. I then attempted to quit and have failed many times causing me to take this image which I shot in my small "studio" that I set up in my apartment.
I called it Broken Will and it described my struggle in an image. I played with various lighting and reflecting to cause shadows, I was happy with the result even though the image is not an appealing subject. I'm happy to announce that I have been smoke free for a month.

| I worked on my technique for fireworks
Used a tripod and a remote shutter. Shot in Manual mode with two fixed variables TV = bulb (so that I manually control shutter intervals by remote) ISO = 100 The size of the aperture is relative fractions to the focal length. generally I set from F 8 - F 16. the greater the focal length. At 105mm I used F13 What bulb allows you to do is manually control the shutter, basically you can hold down for 1-2 second or longer at 2-5 seconds. I had some fun and timed it according to color and what pattern the conception of the snap had, and on the spot i decided to either let it go quick or keep it going a little longer. I moved around the tri head of the tripod to make the positioning of various look a little different..I was happy with the end results.
